JASON HILL LYMAN
I've always approached art in a very simple way. I either like something, or I don't. If I don't, there's no talking me into liking it. If I do, I can't talk enough about it! Art is not an analytical summary, nor is it something that should take convincing to recognize. It is a visceral response to recognizing something within yourself shown in someone else's expression.
Great photography, like great art, must aspire to do this. It must draw your eyes, be difficult to define, ask questions, steal your attention and grant a gift all at once...
It must dare to be something more than a photograph of who or what you just took. People are more than just a pretty photograph of themselves, and your wedding is obviously more than flowers and loved ones. So why not capture that?
That is what I aim to reveal. The unspoken hopes, the smile you forgot about, the look you thought no one saw...I capture what makes your wedding, your love, and who you are, special.
My clients feel I do it well. I try to do it better every day. If who you are is what you're looking for, then I'm the photographer for you.
